Tom Larimer lands on the Far Bank

Far Bank Enterprises, the parent company of major brands including Sage, Redington, RIO Products, and Fly Water Travel, has hired Tom Larimer as its director of North American wholesale sales.

He brings vast experience gained from a prolific 30-year career that has touched nearly every corner of the fly fishing industry, most recently as fly fishing brand manager at St Croix Rod.

Before that, he spent seven years as the national sales manager at G Loomis Fishing. His experience on the manufacturing side of the industry has also included roles in product design at Rajeff Sports, as well as ambassadorships and advisory roles at several recognised fly brands including Winston, Simms, Solitude and Airflo. 

His recent roles leading national sales teams and brand management operations have been informed by decades guiding and retail experience, in addition to a background in product design and casting instruction.

At Far Bank, Tomwill lead national account sales and relationships and will manage the company’s veteran team of sales reps serving specialty dealers across the continent.

Tom, who also has extensive experience in fly fishing retail and retail management, as well as 18 years as a professional guide, added: “I couldn’t be more excited to join the Far Bank team.
