Sea Angling Classic Launches at major UK boat show

The UK’s newest and biggest saltwater boat competitions – the Sea Angling Classic – will be launched for 2023 at the SBS Boat Life Show in Birmingham, England, next month.

The event – taking place at the NEC Birmingham from February 16th to 19th – is the perfect opportunity for sea angling enthusiasts to discover the latest and greatest in fishing gear and technology, including the 2023 prize boat, which is an amazing Extreme 745 Gameking on an SBS trailer.

Launched two years ago with the inaugural main event last summer, the Sea Angling Classic is the premier event for sea anglers, bringing together the best in fishing equipment, tackle, and boats, as well as anglers and industry professionals.

Attendees will have the chance to test out the latest gear, learn from the best in the business, and discover the latest trends in sea angling.

The reveal of the Extreme 745 Gameking prize boat is one of the most highly anticipated products of the show.

This state-of-the-art boat is designed for serious anglers, with features such as a large fishing deck, ample storage, and a smooth and stable ride.

There will be the opportunity to have a close look at the fantastic build quality of Extreme 745 Gameking and see the Ultimate Fishing system installed by Lowranc.

New for this year is a 300HP V6 Yamaha motor complete with the Helmmaster EX joystick control that also has a GPS Anchor lock system. The boat will have a full display of the very latest Penn fishing equipment and Mustang Survival clothing.

The Prize Boat reveal will take place at 12.30pm on Thursday, February 16th on the Extreme boat stand where there will be drinks provided by event partner Pantaenius

The Sea Angling Classic itself is a catch photograph and release event for recreational boat anglers and will take place in Portsmouth, England from June 124th to 28th, with a prize table in excess of £150,000 including the Extreme 745 Gameking boat.
