Major Craft reveals European drive

Japanese tackle maker Major Craft continues its growth with the opening of European base in Madrid, Spain.

The company, which already has a facility in North America plus a manufacturing operation in Vietnam, is keen to develop products specifically for European anglers while also offering a better service to its buyers on the continent.

Major Craft Co was set up back in 2001 and has grown steadily in that time, most recently launching a new building in Vietnam to increase rod building capacity to around 20,000 pieces per month.

Alongside this it has an OEM partnership in China and works hard to develop all types of lure fishing rods, covering everything from bass and sea bass to shore jigging, offshore jigging and much more.

It uses Fuji guides and reel seats throughout its rod range while ensuring their high quality by checking every single rod before it is shipped from the factory.

Since 2014 it has also been supplying lures, with its JIGPARA perhaps its best-known and bestselling item.
