Shimano moves forward with logistics contract

Shimano Europe has decided to extend its cooperation with GXO to perform logistic services for its many and varied products across Europe.
In 2022, Shimano made the strategic decision to focus entirely on its core activities of sales, marketing and service. The ambition was to create a fully automated warehouse for about 30,000 highly diverse Shimano products.
This entailed challenges which Shimano has decided to handle in a non-automated way of working.
As a result, the warehouse operations from Belgium are moving to GXO Venray in The Netherlands.
Shimano Europe has initiated operations from Venray Netherlands, with a controlled transition towards being fully operational by September 30th, 2025.
The long-standing relationship with GXO – which Shimano already knows well from its operations in France – will be extended for this purpose.
