Mustad seeks sales expert for southern Germany

Hook and tackle giant Mustad Fishing is looking for a sales representative to lead and grow its business across southern Germany.

For more than 190 years, Mustad has been one of the most trusted names in fishing tackle, supplying anglers in more than 130 countries with premium hooks, terminal tackle and innovative fishing products.

As it continues expanding our presence across Europe, this is an opportunity to take ownership of one of its key growth markets and become an important part of Mustad’s EMEA commercial team.

This is a direct sales role focused on building strong partnerships with retailers, distributors, and key accounts across Germany, while helping drive Mustad’s long-term growth in the region.

The successful candidate will help develop and execute regional sales plans, growing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, presenting Mustad’s premium product portfolio, leading line reviews and dealer meetings and representing the brand at trade shows and industry events.

They will also collaborate closely with its marketing, product development and customer service teams to ensure strong execution across the market.

Mustad is keen to find someone with sales experience in the fishing, outdoor or sporting goods industry, strong communication and relationship-building skills, a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to travel frequently within the region and a genuine passion for fishing and the outdoors. Fluency in German is required and English is considered a plus.
