Global marine accessory manufacturer and distributor Osculati has been appointed as the exclusive distributor in Italy for the market-leading range of RAILBLAZA mounting solutions and accessories.

The appointment is an extremely positive step for RAILBLAZA as it looks to continue expanding and improving its European coverage.

Nick Edgington, sales director (EMEA) for RAILBLAZA, explained: “After nearly a year of strategic communication and several face-to-face meetings with Osculati, I am delighted that we have been able to agree terms.

“Their unrivalled infrastructure and reach into the market will ensure our continued growth in Italy. Osculati’s healthy investment to stock, will allow trade customers in Italy to access our most popular products which can be shipped next day. I look forward to working with Giorgio Osculati and his team to launch the brand at the Genoa Boat Show.”

Osculati, founded in 1958, has grown to become a global leader in B2B sales of marine accessories with a turnover of €112 million in 2023.

Alongside 7,000 of its own-brand articles, Osculati is the exclusive partner of numerous international brands such as Lewmar, Whale, Oceanair, Polyform, Victron, Marlow and now RAILBLAZA.

RAILBLAZA – a global firm with manufacturing facilities in New Zealand, a head office in Texas, USA and representation in Europe – will be showcasing a variety of new products at METS 2024 in mid-November, introduced at the event by Mark Northup, vice-president of product development.

Mark joined the RAILBLAZA team earlier this year as part of its strategy and commitment to leading the way in product design and innovation.
