Familiar face returns to run EFTTEX 2025

EFTTEX 2025 has been confirmed… and it will be run by Resolutions Ltd, the company owned by former EFTTA and EFTTEX general manager Janet Doyle.

Resolutions has been granted the licence to run the show by EFTTA AIBSL (the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association), which owns the EFTTEX brand.

It has also been confirmed that it will take place at the Brussels Expo, Brussels, Belgium on September 10th to 12th, 2025. It will be the only European fishing tackle trade show fully supported by EFTTA, which will continue its vital lobbying work on behalf of the industry.

Janet has been involved in organising EFTTEX between 2000 to 2019, so has plenty of experience behind her.

She said “I’m really excited to be back running the show. It’s great to see an industry backed show return to Europe. Brussels is centrally located, familiar to many and is where EFTTA carries out its lobbying work. Therefore it makes perfect sense to hold the show in the same city.”

Ross Honey, representing the EFTTA board, added: “The recent restructuring sets EFTTA and its members on a path towards a bright future, allowing EFTTA to dedicate 100 per cent of its focus on lobbying efforts in Brussels.

“As the association representing the European fishing tackle trade, EFTTA has an advocacy responsibility for recreational angling. While at the same time entrusting a separate, professional show organisation with the full responsibility of running a dynamic and purpose-driven EFTTEX. With these changes, success is within reach.”

The work of organising the event, as well as attracting both exhibitors and visitors, has already started and further details will be revealed in due course.
