EWF Show postponed until October

Due to the currently still very tense situation of the pandemic which unfortunately does not permit any prospect of reasonable and secure planning of an event April, the organisers have decided to postpone the 16th Experience of World Fishing (EWF) event to October 23rd and 24th.

EWF is regarded as the largest fly-fishing show on the continent of Europe, attracting visitors from all over the world.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “After discussions with our exhibitors, special participants and also guests from the fly-fishing world, we solely received positive feedback to our suggestion of organising an autumn EWF. Great enthusiasm and anticipation rang out from all that, before the end of the year, they will see their friends, fly fishing colleagues and customers again and will be able to exchange stories and talk shop with a coffee or beer.

“With the date October, we will put an emphasis on the topic of fly tying and everything that is part of it. Additionally, we are looking with anticipation and optimism to hopefully unrestricted travelling to our beloved fishing destinations at home and abroad in 2022. Thus, at our Autumn-EWF, we will put another emphasis on fishing trips to near and far.

“We will run the event in a ‘light version’ since probably not all international exhibitors and special participants will be able to come. In the following weeks and months, we will announce further information and details on the familiar media, such as Fisch & Fliege, on information platforms, including the EWF website, Facebook and so on.

“So save the dates of October 23rd and 24th at the event forum Fürstenfeld near Munich. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again well and in a good mood.”
