Another key player joins EFTTA trade body

Prominent Danish tackle supplier Fairpoint Outdoors A/S has added its weight to the work of the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA) by becoming a member.

Fairpoint joins an esteemed list of industry leaders including Diawa, Shimano, VMC Rapala, Rather Outdoors, Pure Fishing, Sensas, Visdeal, Saenger, Lotta Olt, Korda and Angling Spirit.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in Fairpoint’s commitment to amplifying its voice and support of the fishing community.

In addition to its manufacturing and selling its own brands; Westin, Kinetic and Unique Flies, Fairpoint Outdoors is  proud to be the exclusive distributor of Sage and Rio in Scandinavia.

Meanwhile, EFTTA is a leading advocate for the fishing tackle industry, actively engaging in lobby work in Brussels to shape policies and regulations that impact businesses and anglers alike.

Fairpoint Outdoors recognises the importance of this advocacy and is eager to contribute to the collective efforts of EFTTA.

COO Thomas Sanotra is enthusiastic about the collaboration and said: “Joining EFTTA aligns perfectly with our vision of advancing and supporting recreational angling for the industry. EFTTA’s advocacy work in Brussels is crucial for ensuring the sustainability and growth of our sector. We are proud to stand alongside fellow industry leaders in shaping the future of fishing.”

EFTTA vice-president Ross Honey added: “We are thrilled to welcome Fairpoint Outdoors into the EFTTA family. Its expertise and commitment to the industry will undoubtedly enrich our collective efforts. Together, we will continue to champion the interests of our members and promote responsible angling practices for anglers today and future generations.”

This partnership comes at a time when EFTTA is experiencing a surge in membership, with more companies set to join in the coming weeks and exciting things on the horizon.
